Our latest anthology, V/H/S/2, hit VOD a few weeks back via Magnet Releasing. You can find the iTunes and Apple TV link here. Other outlets carrying it should also include Amazon (link link here), AT&T UVerse, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Google Play, Playstation 3, Sudden Link, Time Warner Cable, Verizon Fios, VUDU and Xbox Zune. Look around! There’s also a theatrical rollout set for July 12th.

To keep the hype train rolling, we’ve got a special exclusive look at a new featurette focusing on Gareth Evans (The Raid) and Timo Tjahjanto’s (Macabre) “Safe Haven,” an intense segment that will take a peak around the curtain of an insane Indonesian cult. We think you guys are going to dig this one!

In the film directed by Simon Barrett, Adam Wingard, Gareth Evans, Eduardo Sanchez, Gregg Hale, Jason Eisener and Timo Tjahjanto, “Inside a darkened house looms a column of TVs littered with VHS tapes, a pagan shrine to forgotten analog gods. The screens crackle and pop endlessly with monochrome vistas of static—white noise permeating the brain and fogging concentration. But you must fight the urge to relax: this is no mere movie night. Those obsolete spools contain more than just magnetic tape. They are imprinted with the very soul of evil.

Am I the only one who hated VHS 1, and thought 2 was even worse?

    • Highoffmyass

Yeah so far you are the only one I’ve heard say that

Please Mr.Disgusting! Or Brad if you will…produce another! I eagerly await a V/H/S 3. I’m literally in love witht both films and I want to know more about the wrap around stories. I had friends over to watch this film, they all loved it. I’ll keep dishing out mah money for quality films!

Damn! What’s up with the sound of this video, I can barely understand anything they are saying because of the echo. Also, @MrDisgusting… when can I stream it on Netflix?

  • Highoffmyass

I loved it. The first short film was OKAY, but after that it just got nuts. WATCH THIS!

I enjoyed the first V/H/S, not the best movie ever but still, some parts of it were nice! Anyway, I love the work of Timo Tjahjanto, and with him in V/H/S 2, I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy it!
