I enjoyed last night’s episode, but I still think the pilot was better. Oh, that poor cow! lol. Still can’t get that image out of my head. Shocking and nasty stuff. And the cliffhanger at the end was perfect.

Not knocking last night’s episode at all, because I LOVED it. Big Jim returning with the bulldozer was a good shock, because you thought he ran away to dodge the heat (no pun intended), but he came back to save the day and his ass at the same time. The kid holding the girl in the underground bunker (I keep forgetting their names) looks more like a psycho with each passing week, and the deputy going nuts at the end was a good ending. And I guess they’re holding off on explaining the mystery behind the propane until later.

One of my big fears has already materialized. A mediocre 2nd episode. Why should commit to watch more? The pilot episode was decent and had me engaged, except for some of the cliche characters. Let’s not even talk about the psycho boyfriend. That character is just eye-rolling. But the 2nd episode had very little to offer for and hour of our viewing time. Will they do the same with the 3rd? Dunno, but they better thrill me, or I’m jumping ship and moving on to something worthwhile.

I think the show is ok, not great, but man do I hate the whole storyline of the boyfriend and girl in the bunker, so stupid.

  • Zombie-Killa

That’s something I’ll agree on 100%. While I really like the show, the boyfriend/girlfriend garbage is on the only subplot that truly annoys the shit out of me. I have to fight turning the channel, when both of them appear on screen. And to make matters worse, they’re BOTH unlikeable characters.
