The Conjuring is a damn good ghost story. I think it’s easily one of the best supernatural thrillers in years (if not a decade). A few weeks back I went to San Francisco to chat with the film’s creators and stars, and I definitely didn’t want to miss Lili Taylor and Ron Livingston. The film tasks them with the challenge of having to convey warmth and terror at the same time, and they more than rise to the occasion.
“The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.” In theaters July 19th, the film stars “Bates Motel’s” Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver and Sterling Jerins.
