Rob Zombie To Record First Ever Live DVD

In an interview with AbsolutePunk.net, Alex DiVincenzo caught up with Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 who broke the news that after nearly 30 years of performing and releasing albums (including White Zombie), a live DVD is finally in the works and will be released later this year!

John 5 states, “This is big news. I haven’t talked about this. 30 years, Rob Zombie, White Zombie – never done a live DVD. We’re doing one this year. The show’s so big. It can’t get much bigger, so I’m like, “We better record this!”

More news will be reported once we hear of it.

As much as I like Zombie, I was disappointed with his live CD…I really hope the DVD is worth it.

He really should have done this along time ago during the “Hellbilly Deluxe” tour. Now he’s getting old and a little out of energy.

Regardless, I’m a Zombie fan. I’ll pick it up and it’s about damn time.
