Twisted Music Video Of The Week Vol. 94: Soundgarden “Black Hole Sun”

It’s Friday, I’m in Montreal for Fantasia Film Fest and it’s hotter than hell out here. Seriously, I’m losing weight at a record pace simply from sweating. For some reason, that reminded me of one of my favorite music videos from my childhood: Soundgarden‘s “Black Hole Sun”, which comes from their fantastic 1994 album Superunknown. The video features some of the most mind-bending and offsetting surrealism that I can remember from that era. Music videos these days can only try to match the feelings I had when I first saw this on MTV (yeah, we’re going WAY back in time here to a point when MTV actually played videos). Let the following .GIF entice you to head on down!

I think this was the first Soundgarden song I properly listened to.

    Brilliant stuff.

I remember seeing this video back in the day and being terrified yet unable to look away. Still one of my favorite songs to this day!
