Welcome to the Dead Days of Summer, where we try our best to give you something to play/read during the dreaded summer video game drought. Because who goes outside anymore?
Alas, poor Yorick. The Dead Days of Summer have reached their end. I knew them well. But they will not end with a whimper, but with a bang! And what provides a brighter bang than everyone’s favorite horror writer — okay, second favorite — Alan Wake. GOG.com has bestowed upon us five codes for Alan Wake and its pseudo sequel American Nightmare, which we will be giving away today to five lucky readers.
Read on for details!
You guys seem to be fond of caption contests, so I figured we’d end this series with one of those. My favorite addition to the Alan Wake fiction came from American Nightmare, which introduced the giddy psychopath known as Mr. Scratch. He absolutely made that game, so today, we’re going to honor him.
What I want you to do is look at this lovely image:
And come up with a caption for it, which I’d like for you to post in the comments below. You can create as many as you like, just make sure you post one caption per comment.
Now set forth and make haste, dear reader! Make me proud.
Winners will be chosen a week from now, on Monday, July 29th.
For all the PC gaming goodness you can possibly handle, head on over to GOG.com.
