Freddie Highmore of A&E’s “Bates Motel” took a little trip to the original Psycho house for the first time. Check out what happens below when the team behind-the-scenes drives Highmore “a little crazy.”
“Bates Motel” serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho, giving viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years. Fans have access to the dark, twisted backstory of Norman Bates and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is.
Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring, The Departed), Freddie Highmore (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Finding Neverland), Max Thieriot (House at the End of the Street), Olivia Cooke (Blackout), and co-star Nestor Carbonell (“Lost,” The Dark Knight Rises) all attended the Comic-Con panel.
Season Two of “Bates Motel” is currently in production and is slated to air early 2014.
