Twisted Music Video Of The Week Vol. 96: The Misfits “Scream!”

It’s Friday and BOY am I glad that the weekend is ahead! I may not be getting much rest (gotta keep up that Mayhem coverage, ya know?) but I will at least go to a party, have a few drinks, and make sure to scream! And that’s why I brought you lovely readers this week’s edition of Twisted Music Video Of The Week, which features classic horror punk band The Misfits and their video for “Scream!”

The song comes from the band’s 1999 album Famous Monsters and the video was directed by none other than horror legend himself George A. Romero! Head on down to check out this awesome video!

A lot of long time Misfits fans don’t agree, but I think this late 90’s American Psycho/Famous Monsters era version of the Misfits made the best music in the band’s history. And Project 1950’s was pretty rad too!

I never realized that Romero directed that.
Does anyone else ever like to fantasize about Jerry Only beating the living dog shit out of Danzig? Or am I weird?

I like to imagine Glenn yelling at a pile of bricks in his yard while hosing them down with water.

  • Timenoid

This song is hands down one of my top favorite Misfits songs of the 90’s. I still prefer The Misfits first 2 albums with Danzig over anything of this songs era, however; that’s just my opinion.

Also worth checking out is the uncut version, with more violence!
