Zaraah Abrahams Addicted To Blood in New Spike Lee Joint

Variety is reporting that Oldboy director Spike Lee has cast British actress Zaraah Abrahams as the female lead in his Kickstarter-funded film, which may or may not be horror related.

The mysterious “Spike Lee Joint” project centers on humans addicted to blood.

The filmmaker disclosed he had discovered Abrahams while watching “Black Girl in Paris,” a short film by one of his students, Kiandra Parks.

Lee revealed the selection on his Kickstarter page, where he has raised 54% of the $1.25 million needed. He has 15 days left to meet the campaign goal.

Lee has raised nearly half the funds from two pledge areas — $260,000 from 26 pledges of $10,000 each for a courtside seat and dinner with Lee at a New York Knicks home game and $65,000 from 13 pledges of $5,000 each for associate producer credit on the film.
