‘Insidious Chapter 2’ Trailer Is But A Dream of Terror!

Utilizing an old-sounding version of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat,” the new international trailer for James Wan’s Insidious: Chapter 2 delivers on the heebie-jeebies.

In theaters September 13, “The haunted Lambert family seeks to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

As she did in the first Insidious, Oscar-nominated Hershey will play the role of Lorraine Lambert, the mother to Patrick Wilson’s Josh Lambert and the grandmother to the demon-possessed boy Dalton.

James Wan is the only TRUE master of horror of our generation (as was Carpenter, Craven, Barker, Raimi,… at their time). No counter-argument allowed. We had a lot of these in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s. Now we unfortunalty only have one. And Oren Peli, Adam Green, Rob Zombie and all these jokers can suck my duck. They know sh*t about horror!

I’ll give you Oren Peli, but, seriously? Adam Green and Rob Zombie don’t know shit about horror? Divisive as their films may be, that comment is absolute bullshit.

I agree, Joe. He is the only one today. green knows shit. He knows how to poorly replicate Friday the 13th. That’s what he knows. and Zombie knows how to replicate garbage into garbage on screen. He couldn’t create characters if he had a fucking gun to his nuts.

Dead Silence wasn’t a perfect movie, but it was a much better movie than majority of slow burn flicks in the last decade (exit the not bad at all house of the devil).
Rob Zombie doesn’t know how to build tension or suspence. His first two movies wasn’t bad, but it was fun movies because of the awesomness of the dialogues and the general craziness in it (H, H2 and Salem was crap), not because of their horror elements.
Everybody can carry gallons of blood and throw them at a camera. It doesn’t make them a good horror movie directors.
To come back to my original post, I would like to stand that I have few hope for the future of some directors which include Alex Aja and Neil Marshall. Both of them made few excellent movies (The descent is a masterpiece) and a lot of crap, so they need to prove me that they still have it.

Really? As much as I love James Wann, Dead silence was utterly funny and while insidious was incredible in the first 2/3 of the film, the last act was laughable. Rob Zombie is mostly focused on violence and its effects. Say what you want, the man has proven more than capable to do quality jump scares and at least he created his own school. As Reaper said, “that comment is absolute bullshit”

Really hope this turns out good. Didn’t like the first one so much.
