Sterling Jerins, pictured above, who played Brad Pitt’s daughter in World War Z, has joined the cast of Mandalay’s thriller Dark Places opposite Charlize Theron, Variety reports.
The story, based on Gillian Flynn’s novel, “centers on a woman who survived the massacre of her family as a young girl and testified against her brother as the murderer. She’s confronted 25 years later by a secret society obsessed with solving notorious crimes.”
Jerins, who also starred in The Conjuring, will play the young girl while Theron portrays her elder self. Corey Stoll, Nicholas Hoult and Chloe Moretz also star with Gilles Brenner set to direct.
