An unlikely team. An unbelievable mystery. Feature director Len Wiseman treats every hour of television as if it’s a movie and enjoys creating a world all to itself in this new video interview for Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow”, premiering Monday, September 16.

“Sleepy Hollow,” from “Transformers” team Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, finds Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) being resurrected to find a world on the brink of doom.

From co-creators/executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (the Star Trek and Transformers franchises, “Fringe”), the thrilling new action-adventure “Sleep Hollow” is a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving’s classic. Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie) to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the founding fathers..

I should have known, when I saw the ridiculously poorly-made trailer and the ridiculous underlying plot that it could only come from the minds of Kurtzmann and Orci, the people who brought you uber-flop Cringe (I mean Fringe).

Add to that distasteful creative start a bad feature director and FOX has crossed all the boxes needed to make sure they’ll have yet another flop on their schedule.

Who on earth thinks that projects like that with proven creative disasters at the helm will work?

Answer: it’s a show only a network executive could want.
