Team Meat’s deeply unnerving Flash-based roguelike The Binding of Isaac is getting remade by indie developer Nicalis, which will bring it a new engine, complete with new art and more of the randomly generated and insanely difficult dungeon crawling that made the original game so addictive.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth won’t release until next year, so to get us nice and excited for it now Nicalis has unveiled a teaser trailer that may very well be the most unsettling thing you watch today. Seriously, it’s a thing of nightmares.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth hits Steam and the PlayStation 4 in 2014.
