The boys over at The Hollywood Reporter have the first ever review of Greg McLean’s Wolf Creek 2, his slasher sequel to the 2005 Sundance hit that was released by Dimension Films. After years in development, McLean reenlisted John Jarratt to return as Aussie psychopath Mick Taylor.
First word comes in out of the Venice screening where THR calls the film “an edge-of-seat gorefest that follows safely in the tracks of its predecessor.” Big, strong, bold words setting up immediate excitement for us horror fans. They add, “McLean’s superb grasp of technique and his talent for inducing major fear in audiences should be a gift to gore and splatter fans.”
