    Cool…so…what makes HIM metal again?

    • JonathanBarkan

      ….I plead the fifth.
But to be honest, they’re a soft metal, perhaps more of a hard rock. But they still have harder, more “metal” tracks.

I never really paid much attention to HIM but when this first started i was like ok..not too bad. THEN..that dude started singing..what the fuck…horrible

  • Darkness69

They churned out Razorblade Romance ages ago and that was the last thing with any value when it comes to HIM. If you want good dark rock/metal, check out another Finnish band with far more to offer: The 69 Eyes! They immortalised many horror movie titles in their songs even, including “House By The Cemetery”, “Lost Boys”, “Suspiria” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, with music ranging from gothic metal to sleaze rock. Highly recommended!

HIM is wonderful. The music videos could be better though.
