Boredom Bytes is back! Like the cloaked wanderer drifting from Tristram to Kurast, this series is unpredictable in its visits. It’s here today, sure, but where will it be tomorrow, or next week? Who knows?
I have two intensely awesome fan-made video game inspired short films for you to enjoy after the jump. One is inspired by the darker themes in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and the other is a bloody short film that Fallout fans should enjoy. Read on for more!
First up is Skyrim: Into the Void, a quality short that follows a Dovakhiin — if you haven’t played Skyrim, that’s lingo for dragon slaying badass — who’s on a quest to find a cure for Vampirism. If watching a man swing a sword at a tornado sounds like something you’d like to watch, you can look forward to seeing that in the first minute.
Next is Fallout: Lanius, a gory (dare I say, not gory enough?) fan-made film with a definite Gladiator vibe. Fallout inspired fan films are nothing new, but even if you’ve seen them all this is different enough to warrant a watch.
