From the mind of S. Zainab Williams and Robert Burrows comes a new horror graphic novel, “Beatrice Is Dead”. What makes this project special? These are two creators who love horror as much as we do. “Beatrice Is Dead” is a coming of age story about a young girl who is just commencing her journey through the afterlife. The titular hero bans with a group of troubled girls in order to stave off the demons who want nothing more than to feed on their young souls. As stated in the video, the series crosses over into other genres, such as fantasy and crime, but it is horror at heart. For only $5, you can snag yourself a digital copy of volume 1, but there are plenty of other backing options if you’re feeling generous.
Williams talks about the project over at Bleeding Cool.
