“American Horror Story” Star Joins ‘The Hunger Games’

“American Horror Story’s” Lily Rabe has been cast as Commander Lyme in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2, Lionsgate reported on Monday morning.

Lyme is a past victor of an unknown Hunger Games, hailing from District 2, and is one of the leaders of the Rebellion at District 13, explains Deadline.

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she’s made it out of the bloody arena alive, she’s still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what’s worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss’s family, not her friends, not the people of District 12.

She joins Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson and Jena Malone in the sequels opening in theaters November of both 2014 and 2015.

Wait why in the hell are they splitting it up into two parts. That’s really unnecessary imo, is hollywood that money hungry to make us sit through two films just to see the ending to the trilogy which the ending isn’t that great, actually I hated the ending a lot. Maybe they’re going to fix Susanne Collins shitty writing choices and give a viable ending to an actually decent story.
