There’s nothing worse than dedicating yourself to a series, only for it to canceled before it even gets to the second season (or even a finale). Two genre shows are safe, for now.
CBS’ “Under the Dome”, pictured above, wrapped its summer run Monday with strong 10 p.m. turnout while Fox’s frosh “Sleepy Hollow”, below, got off to a solid start in the 9 p.m. hour, reports Variety.
“Dome” concluded with 11.8 million viewers and 2.8 rating in adults 18-149, its highest demo score since July 29.
“Sleepy Hollow” grabbed 10 million viewers with 3.4 rating/9 share — a marked improvement over the debut the same week last year of Fox’s short-lived “Mob Doctor” (5.1 million, 1.5/4 in 18-49).
For now, it’s safe to get yourself immersed into both series.
