[TV] “True Blood” Vet Hunts the Horseman In FOX’s “Sleepy Hollow”

While I went from loving “True Blood” to utterly despising it, there are some bright spots, including actor James Frain. He’s taking his acting talents to “Sleepy Hollow,” joining Ichabod Crane’s hunt for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

TVLine says he will guest-star on multiple episodes of Fox’s freshman hit as Rutledge, a modern-day nobleman who will interrogate Ichabod, who is being passed off as a “visiting Oxford professor,” about his past.

What’s more, Rutledge harbors a secret that could affect Ichabod’s future.

Frain’s credits also include runs on “Grimm,” “White Queen,” “The Cape,” “Invasion,” “24” and “The Tudors.”

“Sleepy Hollow” — which this week delivered Fox’s best fall drama debut in seven years — airs Mondays at 9/8c.
