Lionsgate Travels the ‘Trail of Blood’ This December
A weekend getaway turns horrifying when Joe Dante presents Trail of Blood, arriving on DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet), Digital HD, Video On Demand and Pay-Per-View December 3 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. From executive producer Joe Dante, (director of The Howling, Gremlins, Small Soldiers), the film stars Robert Picardo (TV’s “Star Trek: Voyager”) alongside Ray Campbell (AMC’s “Breaking Bad”), about a group of friends who’s lakeside party turns deadly when they make a terrifying discovery. The Trail of Blood DVD includes a directors’ commentary and will be available for the suggested retail price of $26.98.
“On a weekend camping trip deep in the forest, Jim, a young U.S. Marine enlistee and his friends stumble upon the murdered bodies of a vacationing couple. They’re suddenly taken hostage by a deeply disturbed war veteran on a sadistic killing spree leaving Jim and his friends fighting to get out of the forest alive.“
One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!
The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
