i like what the Ford Brothers did with “The Dead”. yes it was another zombie film but it was shot beautifully and almost had an epic look to it… the change in scenery to Africa was a good twist to the genre…I was kind of hoping to see what happened next to the survivors of the original as Murphy and the boy were just getting started on another journey..it looks like a whole new set of characters in India..i think the novelty of a zombie film set in a far out location might be over by now…cant say i’m still not looking forward to this..i am

Totally agree. The African setting, while visually stunning, gave an almost primal feel to the movie. “India” gives a whole new structure in the series due to if nothing else the population density. I would think time line wise Africa and India would be part of a concurrent world epidemic. I really hope this does well, would be very interested to see what locale they would attempt next.

I think this looks even better than the original.

While sequels never seem to live up to the original the brothers Ford seem to have hit another home run here. The original was indeed beautifully shot and a pretty good thriller to boot. High hopes for this.
