While Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow” makes me, well, sleepy, Fox has ordered a 13-episode second season, making the fantasy thriller the first fall debut to be renewed for a sophomore run, Variety reports.
It is officially safe to begin watching without the fear of it being canceled mid-season, with a resolution…
The renewal arrives just three episodes into “Sleepy Hollow’s” first season. Personally, I haven’t been enamored with the show, and don’t know if I personally will continue. My parents, on the other hand, love it. So, yeah…
Says Variety, “Sleepy Hollow” ranks as Fox’s most successful fall drama premiere in over a decade. The program opened to 10 million viewers during its premiere, a number that blossomed to 13.6 million after three days of time-shifted viewing were accounted for. “Sleepy Hollow” has also retained a impressive number of its viewers since the show’s launch, even when faced with stiff broadcast competition that includes NBC’s “The Voice.”
“Sleepy Hollow” stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie, and airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. on Fox. It is produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci’s K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox TV.
