Hear The First New A Perfect Circle Song In Nine Years!

Prog-rock band A Perfect Circle has released a stream of “By And Down”, the band’s first new song in nine years. It is a studio recorded version of the song that was recorded during the band’s re-emergences in 2010 and 2011. It appears on the band’s upcoming greatest hits album Three Sixty, which comes out November 26th. The track can be streamed at Spin.

The song has all the trademarks of an APC song. It’s haunting, spacious, beautiful, and features strong syncopation. Vocalist Maynard James Keenan shines with some aching, yearning runs and Billy Howerdel coaxes some tried and true guitar tones that throw me back into the days of Mer De Noms and Thirteenth Step.

Three Sixty is available in both standard and deluxe editions. Head below for the album artwork reveal.

That must’ve been awesome! Hearing a studio version is so nice, though.

A greatest hits album? They only released two albums…not including the covers one. I want new stuff, a new album.
