[Random Cool] Disturbed’s “Stricken” Covered Wonderfully By David Draiman’s Brother

Something that not many people may know is that Disturbed vocalist David Draiman has a brother, Ben Draiman. Ben also happens to be a musician, just like his brother, and has recently released his debut EP, The Past is Not Far Behind (purchase here). And to sweeten the deal for those of you thinking about picking up a copy, for this week only you can get a bonus free download of Draiman’s cover of “Stricken”, which originally appeared on Disturbed’s Ten Thousand Fists album.

The cover replaces the distortion and furious drumming of the original with beautiful strings and piano, giving a very melancholy air to the piece. You can hear the track below. Make sure to follow Ben via Twitter and on Facebook.
