Josh Brolin In Talks For ‘Jurassic World,’ Which They’re Calling A ‘Jurassic Park’ Reboot…

Oldboy‘s Josh Brolin is in early talks to star in Universal’s Jurassic World, Variety first reported.

Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are also in talks to star in what they call a “Jurassic Park reboot.”

Colin Trevorrow is directing the pic and also will co-write the script with Derek Connolly.

Plot details are unknown at this time but it is known that Robinson would play Simpkins older brother in the pic.

Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing.

The pic is set to open June 12, 2015.

    so we’re back to “reboot” now? i thought they were going in the sequel direction. personally, i’d rather see a sequel. i mean, is there even another way to tell the “scientists create dinosaurs. dinosaurs escape and start eating people” story?

    At this point my care and interest is quickly running away. Just figure out what you guys are actually doing and get to it. Make it right, get your money & make the fans happy or just drop it and walk away.
