Director Gareth Evans (The Raid, V/H/S/2) revealed via Twitter the first official teaser banner for The Raid 2, which promises that “it ain’t over yet.”

But here’s why this post is important, Evans stated via Twitter that we’re in for one of the most action-packed movies of all-time…

Last I checked – the action alone clocked in around 1hr 5mins mark,” he stated. “We have 17 action sequences in the film – so there’s going to be a lot fresh material unspoiled by any teaser or trailer we release.

Any of you guys who saw the first one know full well that it warrants inclusion on this site because of it’s carnage and gore factor. Also? It’s an awesome movie. From PT Merantau Films and XYZ Films, the pic is filming in Jakarta, Indonesia and shot for over 100 DAYS. Iko Uwais returns in the lead. Tio Pakusadewo, Putra Arifin Scheunamann, Julie Estelle, Alex Abbad, Roy Marten, Matsuda Ryuhei, Endo Kenichi, Kitamura Kazukiall star.

Picking up right where the first film ends, The Raid 2 follows Rama (Uwais) as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force.

Filming is underway on The Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell’s Wolf Man for Universal and Blumhouse, which will be howling its way into theaters on January 17, 2025.

Deadline reports that Matilda Firth (Disenchanted) is the latest actor to sign on, joining Christopher Abbott (Poor Things),  Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel), and Sam Jaeger.

The project will mark Whannell’s second monster movie and fourth directing collaboration with Blumhouse Productions (The Invisible Man, Upgrade, Insidious: Chapter 3).

Wolf Man stars Christopher Abbott as a man whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator.

Writers include Whannell & Corbett Tuck as well as Lauren Schuker Blum & Rebecca Angelo.

Jason Blum is producing the film. Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner and Whannell are executive producers. Wolf Man is a Blumhouse and Motel Movies production.

In the wake of the failed Dark Universe, Leigh Whannell’s The Invisible Man has been the only real success story for the Universal Monsters brand, which has been struggling with recent box office flops including the comedic Renfield and period horror movie The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Giving him the keys to the castle once more seems like a wise idea, to say the least.
