Rare Sleeve has announced that they will be releasing a 40th anniversary highly limited edition run of Paul Giovanni‘s score for The Wicker Man. There will only be 500 copies released and they will begin shipping this Thursday, on Halloween! Head to Rare Sleeve to get your copy!
Giovanni’s score took heavy inspiration from folk melodies and the lyrics were inspired by the poems of Robbie Burns.
The 1973 horror mystery that saw Sergeant Howie (Edward Woodward) go to a mysterious Scottish island village that is overseen by Lord Summerisle (Christopher Lee) only to find that things are nothing like what he expects.
