Twisted Music Video Of The Week Vol. 107: Deltron 3030 “City Rising From The Ashes Ft. Mike Patton”

It’s Friday and it’s the day after Halloween, which is both uplifting yet depressing at the same time. So I thought I’d keep the Halloween feel going a little bit longer by bring you the latest video from Deltron 3030, “City Rising From The Ashes”, which features Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle). The video take place in a post-apocalyptic world where three children do their best to survive, eating bugs and living amongst the ruins. The kids each wear a mask, which gives this an ever-so-slight Halloween feel, although I can understand if you think I’m stretching things a wee bit.

Head on down to check out the track and make sure to snag theCity Rising From The Ashes single via iTunes.

Maybe I’m deaf but what is mike patton doing in this song?

    • JonathanBarkan

I’m willing to bet he’s doing the higher pitched background vocals during the chorus.

Oh ok I was listening to it on my phone, I guess I was hoping for something more

The music sounds very like something Patton would do, but I wish he sang more than just backgrounds.

If you want to hear something with more Patton, check out this song “Lost Weekend” he did with the Quemists a few years ago:

Not the greatest Patton feature for sure. I still think the Dillinger EP and “Kool Aid Party” with Team Sleep are my favorite things he’s done besides his main projects.
