It’s been too long since we last heard from the 8-bit indie horror game Catequesis, which blends old school survival horror with the style of mid-nineties video games. It’s inspired by the works of Japanese ghost stories and the works of H.P. Lovecraft, David Lynch and David Cronenberg — all fantastic sources of inspiration, if you ask me.
It looks great and I am absolutely in love with the soundtrack. If you like your horror games old school, I suggest you check out the trailer I have waiting for you after the jump.
The developer has also confirmed that Catequesis has been pushed into 2014 to give them more time to give it an extra coat of polish. That’s for the PC version, the Android port has been delayed even further.
