The co-creator of NBC’s “Chuck” has landed a Syfy deal to develop his new horror project.
EW is reporting on “The Woods”, which is executive produced by Chris Fedak, who co-created Chuck and served as showrunner on the cult-favorite dramedy.
“A young woman returns to the mysterious wooded mansion her sister disappeared from when they were girls, only to learn that the sinister beings that took her sister are still there.”
The script is by writer Liz Phang (The CW’s “90210,” HBO’s “Hung”).
In addition to Fedak and Phang, executive producers include Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
