“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series,” has been shooting for a few weeks in Austin, and now it looks like the show has found someone to play its crime lord. Wilmer Valderrama (“That 70’s Show”). Valderrama’s character of Carlos Madrigal is described by The Hollywood Reporter as “the master villain and crime lord of the series who is a former Spanish Conquistador.” Needless to say, this is a recurring role.
Valderrama joins Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The X-Files) as Jacob Fuller, Madison Davenport (Save Me, Shameless) as Kate Fuller, Brandon Soo Hoo (Tropic Thunder, Ender’s Game, Incredible Crew) as Scott Fuller and Eiza González (Lola: Érase Una Vez) as Santánico Pandemonium. The 10-episode serialized drama will serve as the first original scripted series to air on the El Rey Network.
Original director Robert Rodriguez is an executive producer.
