Metal legends Metallica have released a 50-minute EPK (electronic press kit) that features interviews, behind the scenes footage, and more from the recording of their 1998 cover/compilation album Garage Inc., which featured their hit covers “Turn The Page” and “Whiskey In The Jar” (the latter ended up winning the Best Hard Rock Performance award at the 2000 Grammy Awards show).
The album featured the band’s 1987 EP The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited as well as covers from bands and artists that influenced the career of Metallica, such as Discharge, Diamond Head, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, and more.
Head on down to get a blast from the past as you travel 15 years back.
