The Gang Checks In At ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’

Published

THR reported a year back that Hotel Transylvania (review), Sony Pictures Animation’s surprise monster hit, is getting a sequel.

Sony has just penciled a September 25, 2015 release date for what is presently being titled Hotel Transylvania 2. Collider has a very tiny piece of promo art that confirms progress has been made on the sequel, although the project still has no director or confirmed cast.

Genndy Tartakovsky, who directed Transylvania, is moving on to direct SPA’s Popeye movie project, which is slated for September 26, 2014.

Hotel Transylvania is Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them.
