Trust Me When I Say This Version Of “Wrecking Ball” Sounds Like It Came Straight From Hell

By now we’ve all heard Miley Cyrus‘s “Wrecking Ball”, whether by choice or not. I’m not going to talk about the song or its painfully awkward and pointless music video. However, what I AM going to talk about is this absolutely nightmarish, terrifying version of that has been auto-tuned down to dark depths and then layered with the original, creating some truly horrific results. It sounds like something that one would hear in the deepest circles of Hell. Just….just listen to it yourself and you’ll understand.

    Truly the stuff of nightmares!

  • sweetooth

Sounds like Deadites from the original Evil Dead singing it.

    • JonathanBarkan

I didn’t think of that but it’s a perfect fit!

  • Ultrazilla

LMAO! Holy crap….that was the best thing I’ve seen all week!

  • RubenVeritas

I loved the original version its perfect. And the video was awesome, but most people missed the symbolism behind. The nude scenes meant she was left bare with nothing after the breakup and the sledge hammer represented the man she loves who breaks hers.

    • JonathanBarkan

Then why was she using the sledgehammer to destroy the walls? Does that mean that ‘he’ aided her in breaking down her own personal walls, allowing her to grow as a person?

      • RubenVeritas

I would think she used the sledge hammer to break down the walls she built because of the unhealthy relationship and he being cause of the demise of the relationship. So the walls were broken down being gone along with the man.

        • JonathanBarkan

But why use “the man” to break the walls instead of something that represents her acceptance and willingness to move on?

          • RubenVeritas

I’m not sure that was my interpretation and what the director had in mind along with Cyrus. It was an extreme way of provocative symbolism, but it worked out well for her because she broke the record with 19 million views in 24 hrs and its the most watched video of 2013.

She was licking the sledgehammer, right? You are implying that Miley Cyrus is a “man-licker”.where do you go after licking?sucking.also,it sounds like she is saying “you ra-a-a-aped me”and “I should’ve let you in”? really? anyone else think this video has NOTHING to do with “symbolism”? how could a whore like her even THINK of that?she’s high half the time!maybe i just think about the “wrong” side of things too much.what you said about her being naked,at least he left her her shoes (she’s not completely bare).first she’s Miley then sh’s Hannah, now she’s slutty Miley. Do you think she has split personality issues?i prefer the parodies than some whacko making out with Barbie dolls in the pool(or are they sex dolls?i can’t remember, but i think its from the we can’t stop video)the only reason i know this is because i had no idea what people were talking about with twerking and the Wrecking Ball video.wrecking ball led to parodies, and that led to parodies of other songs that led to the actual video.

      • RubenVeritas

You sound really stupid and ignorant.

  • Mr.Mirage

For the record (ahem): If she recorded an entire album like this, I would buy it without hesitation.

    • JonathanBarkan

I feel like the gimmick would get old quite fast. However, it would be amongst the most terrifying releases EVER!

  • CTHL

With an article title like that, I figured you were just gonna show the original video.
