‘Terminator: Genesis’ May Have Found Its John Connor!

Terminator: Genesis may have found the guy to play John Connor in Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) per Deadline. The report also indicates that Emilia Clarke (no relation, “Game Of Thrones”) is the frontrunner to play Sarah Connor (though Brie Larson, who would also be an excellent choice, is still in the mix).

The studio and director Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) are assembling the reboot for a July 1, 2015 release. They also say that Kyle Reese, played by Michael Biehn in the original film, will also be a character in this version. Perhas a casting announcement for him is in our near future.

Stay tuned for more as more details on this sequel, which actually gets more interesting the more I hear about it, emerge.

Haha, at first glance I thought that was Matthew Perry. That would have been a much more surprising casting decision.

Well, at his age Sarah was already dead…wonder if the whole film will be one big ass flashback.

  • When it comes to John Connor, no one will ever top Edward Furlong, Thomas Dekker, or Christian Bale. Bale was unfortunate to have a spot in the most shitty Terminator film in the franchise, and I would list Nick Stahl, but they turned Connor into a whining bitch for Rise Of The Machines.

I’m not familiar with the guy in the pic above. Seen in him in a few movies, but I barely remember him.
