Read our extremely positive review.

The story centers on a murder that left two children orphans with authorities charging the brother while his sister believed that the true culprit was a haunted antique mirror. Now completely rehabilitated and in his twenties, the brother is ready to move on but his sister is determined to prove that the haunted mirror was responsible for destroying their family.

Karen Gillan, Katee Sackhoff, Brenton Thwaites, Rory Cochrane, Annalise Basso, and Garrett Ryan star.

If you have seen the short film version of “Oculus” and the no-budget yet excellent “Absentia,” then you know this film is on the see-it-as-fast-as-you-can list. Flanagan is a major talent in the genre. Do yourself a favor and check out his work, especially of you enjoy Lovecraftian themes.

The short version of “Oculus” is one of my favorite horror movies and one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen. I’m definitely stoked to see this when it comes out.
