Sony fans rejoice! Minecraft, Mojang’s ridiculously addictive sandbox game that has enjoyed much success on PC, the Xbox 360 and various mobile platforms, is rolling out on the PlayStation 3 and it will be bringing with it all of the features and content — sans the skins, texture and mash-up packs, which are incoming — that Xbox 360 owners have been enjoying for some time now.
I’m glad even more talented souls will now have the chance to get to work on crafting unforgettable roller coasters, because I seriously cannot get enough of those. I’m also looking forward to seeing what 4J will do with Sony’s IPs, like God of War, Killzone and LittleBigPlanet.
If you’ve somehow managed to not play this game yet, beware: I hear it’s terrifying. Launch trailer after the jump.
