Earlier this year, the BD readers were introduced to Knee High Fox and singer Christine Connolly (who appeared in 2006′s Underworld: Evolution) with her 10 Favorite Females In Horror list. Now she’s back and this time she comes packing a brand new music video that we’re premiering! Below you can watch the official music video for “Nightmareland”, which I daresay is a tad NSFW (no nudity but it gets pretty close). Enjoy!
You can snag the band’s first single “Black Widow” via iTunes.
Director/vocalist Christine Connolly states, “Nightmareland is a song that came from a conversation about all things that scared you as a kid when you would go to bed. I was talking about how I would relate common sounds like the ticking of a clock even to be something terrifying. The video kind of created itself, the concept was born as the song was being written. The only part that was kind of a surprise was the scene with me wrapped in plastic. Tyler (the director of photography) said as a joke we should wrap you in plastic Christine… and our eyes lit up. We SHOULD wrap me in plastic!! I said. It was a quick one day shoot in the creepiest basement ever with a lot of nudity, suffocating and Knee High Fox’s fucked up mind. It was a blast directing my own video! When you have complete control there’s no limits…You cant go too far. Thats how we approach our song writing and live show as well. It’s a perfect time of year to sit around the fire with the family and watch ‘Nightmareland’. Sleep Tight!”
