After many major successes in January – such as The Devil Inside and the Underworld films – the month has become a home for horror. This year, we get Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones, as well as Devil’s Due and I, Frankenstein. Either succeeding could open the floodgate and unleash horror hell into the New Year. This is awesome.

Lionsgate is already looking towards 2015 as they’ve slated their newly titled Lazarus (formerly Reawakening) for January 30, 2015.

Directed by David Gelb, “The story follows a team of research students that discovers the secret to bringing subjects back from the dead — however, their actions result in a series of sinister consequences.

Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, Donald Glover, Evan Peters, Sarah Bolger all star in this “Frankenstein”-esque tale.
