The holidays are about giving gifts (it isn’t?) so here’s a perfect story on the day before Christmas loaded with goodies to last-second stuff under a tree (you can always order them and put a photo of it in an envelope, although that’s no fun).
First, NECA revealed a “Retro Ash” from Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. The doll has real cloth that’s similar to the retro-styled Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees versions announced this past fall.
NECA also unveiled packaged shots of the second series of their Aliens line. Explains Figures, due out this February, this assortment includes “Colonial Marine Sgt. Craig Windrix” along with the star of the 1979 film Alien, the Alien itself, aka: Xenomorph. The third figure not pictured is a new Alien Warrior featuring blue highlights.
Lastly, Mezco has announced “Stylized Chucky” from the Child’s Play films. Mezco’s award-winning designers have created an all new sculpture in an all new scale that not only captures the look of Chucky, but the very essence of his menace. Every detail has been captured; from his classic coveralls to the unique imprint of the soles on his sneakers. From his glistening, insane eyes, and his sneering lips, to his shocking red hair, this is Chucky at his most iconic…and most evil! Chucky features 7 points of articulation. He also comes with a knife that he is sure to use for no good. Each Chucky comes packaged in his own collector friendly window box so he can watch you and plan his attack.
