‘Captain America’ Director To Avoid ‘Extinction’ Via Alien Invasion

Joe Johnston, who directed 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger as well as cult comic book movie The Rocketeer and Jurassic Park III, is in negotiations to direct Extinction, a sci-fi feature project set up at Good Universe, reports Heat Vision.

Plot details are being kept under wraps but it does “involve a man trying to save his family with an alien invasion figuring into the proceedings.

David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville are producing Extinction, which was written by Spenser Cohen.

Funny that you didn’t include the fact that he directed the Wolfman movie with Benicio del Toro a few years ago. Granted, I’m sure everybody wishes they could forget that awful awful turd.

Sir, I did not find your comment funny at all. In fact, I’m going to go back to therapy for the simple mention of that Wolfman film. Oh well, at least I’ll get some good meds.
