Uwe Boll Directing Sequel To ‘Rampage,’ His Only Good Movie…

Of all the crap German director Uwe Boll has made, the one that I actually liked was Rampage (read my review), which followed Freddy vs. Jason‘s Brendan Fletcher as a man with a thirst for revenge builds a full body armor from Kevlar and goes on a killing spree.

THR reports that the movie schlockmeister has already started rolling the cameras on Rampage 2, with Fletcher returning.

Rampage 2 has Fletcher returning as “a man who takes over a TV station and holds a number of hostages as a political platform to awaken humanity, instead of for money.

The sequel to the original 2009 mass murder thriller is shooting over six days in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

The feature from the prolific German director, who shoots most of his movies in Vancouver, also stars Lochlyn Munro (Tomorrowland), Mike Dopud and Michaela Ross.

Boll’s earlier movie credits include House of the Dead, the video game adaptation Bloodrayne, Postal and the social drama Darfur.

His only good movie, huh? I agree, but you better watch out, Mr D., he might challenge you to a boxing match.

There is no good movie from Uwe Boll. And this guy thinks The Walking Dead sucks. Wow.

    • CTHL

Well, Rampage is actually a very good movie.

Boll’s “Stoic” was also almost good.

He actually had a decent stretch of movies in 09-10… but now he’s back to making crap again, so all is right with the world once more 🙂

I’ve seen perhaps five Uwe Boll films, all utter shit accept for Rampage, which was brutal, well shot, and entertaining. Has anyone every seen Far Cry? Fucking hell. And that was one of the better ones.

    • Raziel_cz

Yeah, Far Cry was one of the better ones indeed. And it still sucks pretty bad. On the other hand, I really enjoyed Rampage, so I hope they won’t screw up the sequel.

Have you seen Assault on Wall Street? I heard it’s quite good, or at least watchable.

I really liked Stoic and Postal.

Attack on Darfur, Stoic and Rampage were Uwe Bolls triple home run of movies that weren’t crap. Infact they were rather good, with Darfur being regarded, even critically, as one of the better of that year. Uwe’s churned out a LOT of garbage, a LOT. I’ve interviewed him twice, once for Postal and the next time for Rampage, he’s a really nice guy, quite interesting in some opinions but still a really nice guy. But personally I think his videogame movies, they’re abysmal, absolutely terrible. It’s when he actually pulls his head in and tries something original, he occasionally puts out something watchable.
