‘The Conjuring’ Spinoff ‘Annabelle’ Has A Cast!

New Line is moving forward with a spinoff of The Conjuring, as Annabelle Wallis (pictured below; X-Men: First Class, Peaky Blinders) and Ward Horton (The Wolf of Wall Street) are set to star in the low-budget horror movie Annabelle, according to TheWrap.

John Leonetti, who served as the cinematographer on The Conjuring, is directing from a script by Gary Dauberman. Peter Safran is producing, while The Conjuring director James Wan is among the executive producers.

The Conjuring starred Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who are called upon to help a Rhode Island family that is being terrorized by a haunted house. The Warrens have a room in their own house full of creepy collectibles and possessed possessions, and among them was a demonic doll named Annabelle.

‘The Conjuring’ was so overrated; the Annabelle stuff was ok though.

And it was my favorite horror movie to hit in 8 years ( The Descent ) so I guess everyone is different.

I don’t mind this Spin-Off. Besides Chucky, we haven’t had much killer doll action going on so Annabelle could be a welcome addition. She was creepy in The Conjuring, hopefully she can carry a whole movie along with her co-star.. Annabelle lol.

I loved The Conjuring, and especially loved the Annabelle parts, so hopefully they can make a great movie.

  • I hope this doll is nothing like Chucky tbh :l i dont want it to move and carry a knife and slash people up.
