If I were to list all the games that were ever likely to inspire weeks of nightmares, The Legend of Zelda wouldn’t rank very high. It’d get a mention, mostly thanks to that creepy, omnipresent moon face that watches your every move in Majora’s Mask, but that’s about the scariest thing that series has to offer. Until now.
Through Photoshop or black magic — I can’t decide which — digital artist Nate Hallinan took it upon himself to bring a few of the game’s monsters into the real world. The one that sticks out is the Skulltula, which you can see in horrific high-resolution after the break.
