Rock band Foo Fighters has posted a picture on Twitter showing several canisters of tape reels marked as ‘LP 8’, signifying that they are entering the studio to record the follow up to 2011’s Wasting Light. In an interview with XFM, Dave Grohl states, “…we are going to make this album in a way that no one’s ever done before, and we’re pretty excited about it.” He also stated in that interview that the writing of the album is complete, so the studio process should be relatively quick, barring any unforeseen circumstances. A 2014 release date is tentatively planned.
