Check Out This Band: The Kindred

This is the third “Check Out This Band” I’ve written and I’m digging it. It gives me a chance to bring you bands that I’m personally impressed by, interested in, or simply just really enjoying. And for this edition I want to introduce you to Canadian progressive metal band The Kindred, who have their Sumerian Records debut album Life In Lucidity coming out February 25th (pre-order here). What I enjoy about these guys is that they have a lot of dynamics going on and they fully understand that they can have complexity so long as it doesn’t interfere with good songwriting.

Below is the band’s latest video for “Everbound”, which demonstrates those features I was talking about. Check it out and let me know what you think of ’em!
