NSFW Trailer For ‘Killers’ Is Pleasantly Disturbing

Killers

I am woefully underexposed to promo materials for The Mo Brothers’ (directors of Macabre) new film Killers, which pits two psychopaths battling for supremacy. This is one that I don’t really want to be spoiled on, but I peeked at this trailer anyway and it looks – as expected – pretty badass. I’m also emboldened in my expectations in the fact that Timo Tjahjanto co-directed “Safe Haven” in V/H/S/2.

In the film, “Two serial killers post their violent crimes online in a psychotic battle for notoriety. It soon becomes clear that they will square off with one another face to face.” It stars Kazuki Kitamura, Oka Antara, Rin Takanashi, Luna Maya and Ray Sahetapy.

Holy shit, even though the trailer didn’t really give me a sense of the plot, that looked amazing.

The only thing that ruined the trailer for me were the expressions on the women. None of them looked convincing. The dudes, however, are spot on. And is it just me, or does anyone have a hard time believing these “Killers” when they are pretty boys?

The trailer was awesome, BTW. Gives me a very “Grotesque”, Takashi Miike vibe.
