‘Master Reboot’ Brings Sci-Fi Horror To PS3 This Month

MR7

If you’re still waiting for the right time to invest in a next-gen console, don’t fret, because there’s still plenty reasons to stick with what you have now. If you’re already a proud owner of a PS3, there’s a new game coming to it that’s very much worth your attention. Master Reboot is an eerie sci-fi horror game with a vibrant color palette that helps to prove you don’t need to rely on dreary monochromatic browns or greys, or an absence of light to make an unsettling experience. More after the break.

Here’s what Master Reboot is all about, according to a post on the official PlayStation Blog:

“To house your Soul, a family member (or yourself before you die) purchases an island on the Soul Cloud where the server will generate rooms, houses or skyscrapers that hold each and every memory from the deceased’s past, or of memories of their choosing. The game starts with you being uploaded to the Soul Cloud but something has gone wrong and you wake up on a beach not knowing who or where you are. It’s up to you to explore, solve puzzles and try to piece together your life and death.”

Concept sounds hauntingly beautiful… and that’s how I’d describe the screen grabs so far. Will be bagging this one for sure
