Strand Releasing Acquires ‘The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears’

Just yesterday we were asking, what the hell happened to Amer directors Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani’s giallo-inspired The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears?!

Variety reports Thursday morning that Strand Releasing has snatched up all North American rights to their visually-stark horror thriller from Bac Films. You can read our review here.

Described as a Giallo-inspired sexual horror-thriller, Tears turns on Dan (Klaus Tange) who returns to his Brussels home from a business trip and finds out his wife, Edwige (Ursula Bedena), has gone missing somewhere in his Art Nouveau-styled apartment building.

Strand plans for a late summer release. Metrodome Distribution has U.K. rights.
